On September 30, 2024, James Edward Bunty passed away. Beloved husband of Dorothy Bunty; devoted father of Linda Bish (Barry), Judy McCreary (Raymond), Jerome Bunty (Leah), Richard Bunty (Patricia), and Nancy Bunty; cherished grandfather of Gina Maxwell, Barry Bish Jr., Jessica McCreary, Christopher McCreary, Alexandra Bunty, James Bunty, Daniel Bunty, Jessica Rose, and Joshua Thim; loving great-grandfather of Mason and Zoey Maxwell, Henry, Oliver, and Reese Bunty, Adeline Bunty, and Colby and Baylor Rose; dear brother of Roseanne (Mother Mary of the Angels). James was preceded in death by his parents Edward and Agnes Bunty, and siblings Jean, Doris, Margaret, Paul, Joan, and Ken. Also survived by a host of other loving family members and friends.
Friends may call at family owned Bruzdzinski Funeral Home P. A. at 1407 Old Eastern Avenue, Essex at route 702 (beltway exit 36) on Thursday, October 3, 2024, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Clare Catholic Church, 714 Myrth Avenue, Essex, Maryland 21221, on Friday, October 4, 2024, at 10:00 AM. Interment in Gardens of Faith Memorial Gardens.
