Mr. James Earl Carson, age 89 of Dyer, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Saturday January 10, 2026, at Dyer Nursing Home. Graveside services for Mr. Carson will be conducted on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at 10AM at Oakwood Cemetery in Dyer, with Bro. Barry England officiating.
He was born November 19, 1936 in Sidonia, TN; the son of the late Robert Leonard and Mildred Lucille Perry Carson. He was a painter with his family company, Carson Painting and Contracting. Mr. Carson was a member of the Dyer Church of Christ.
He is survived by two sons, Rickie Carson (Debbie) and Jeffrey Carson (Teresa); brother, Joe Carson; sister, Dianne BeLote, and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Della Mae Carson; son, Michael Carson; his parents; brothers, Stanley Carson, Billy Carson, and Marshall Carson, and sister, Norma Jean Workman.
