James Carter Obituary
On September 27, 2024, James David Carter lost his 2-year battle with Cancer at his home surrounded by his family at the age of 58. David was born February 28th, 1966, in Burlington. David was preceded in death by his dad Jim, and brothers John and Larry Cox. He is survived by his devoted wife Meagan Carter and their 3 amazing sons Hunter, Charlie and Jacob Carter. His loving Mother Ms. Bertha Carter. His sisters Erin Carter, Deborah (Willie) Fox. His nieces and nephews Mandi and William Fox, Britney Annas and Miss Francisca Jackel and his beloved sidekick his dog Karma.
David was a lifelong Carpenter and Chef and member at Mars Hill Baptist Church. David loved to be social and on the go he was always planning his next adventure before he ended the one he was on.
A Funeral service will be held on Friday, October 4th, 2024, at Mars Hill Baptist Church at 2pm with the visitation the hour prior. In lieu of flowers Donations can be made to Mars Hill Baptist Church or to another charity of your choice in his honor.
