On January 19, 2026, James (Jim) Mark Castaldi passed away after living a rich and purposeful life. Born on December 9, 1953, he was the beloved son of the late Enrico Castaldi and Alda Baptiste. Jim is survived by his sister, Carol Even, and brother, Barry Castaldi, and their families. He also leaves behind his wife, Shuhua, and his cherished sons, Jared and Alexander Castaldi.
Jim graduated from Catonsville High School and went on to build a notable career mastering the contracts and programs vital to the defense sector. He deeply valued his professional development and the relationships he formed throughout his career. Jim’s refined taste led him to experience life to the fullest—through exciting travel, specialty dining, and lively entertainment. His spark was ignited by live music and the thrill of a spontaneous trip. Jim will be sorrowfully missed by many.
