James Dodd "Jim" Cooper, age 54, passed away on October 4, 2025, in Pleasant Grove, Utah. Born on November 29, 1970, in Bellflower, California, Jim lived a life marked by resilience, devotion to family, and an unwavering zest for life. Jim began his professional journey as an industrial plumber in California. His early career was defined not only by hard work, but also by compassion-he dedicated several years to working with individuals with disabilities at USDC and Lindon Care. For the past two decades, Jim found his calling as a business consultant with Creative Media Consulting. In this role, he empowered countless individuals to build online businesses and achieve financial independence. His guidance and mentorship left a lasting impact on many aspiring entrepreneurs. A man of deep faith, Jim was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. On August 10, 2011, he was sealed to his beloved wife and children in the Mount Timpanogos Temple in American Fork, Utah-a sacred moment that reflected his belief in eternal families. His testimony of Jesus Christ remained strong throughout his life and gave him peace during times of trial. Jim's greatest joy came from spending time with his family. He is survived by his loving wife, Rena Kay Cooper; their children: Robin Michelle Cooper, Brett James Cooper, Remmi Kay Cooper, and Erynn Celeste Cooper; and his cherished grandson, Reginald James Cooper. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gary Eugene Cooper and Barbara Ann Richards. Jim had an infectious enthusiasm for life that touched everyone around him. A proud "cheesehead," he founded and maintained a Green Bay Packers Facebook group that grew to over 31,000 members over the course of twelve years. More than just a fan page, it became a welcoming community where members could learn about the storied history of the Packers and football in a family-friendly environment-something Jim took great pride in cultivating. His love for music knew no bounds. From Garth Brooks to Sublime, Ozzy Osbourne to Puccini, Jim's extensive vinyl collection reflected his eclectic taste and passion for sound. Music was more than entertainment-it was part of how he connected with the world around him. Despite facing immense health challenges-including diabetes, blindness, kidney failure, and seizure disorder-Jim met each day with courage and determination. He fought valiantly against these conditions while continuing to uplift and educate those around him with boldness and self-assurance. Above all else, Jim wanted people to know how deeply he loved his family. They were his anchor through every storm and the source of his greatest happiness. Whether enjoying quiet moments at home or cheering on the Packers with their two dogs, Jim treasured every second spent with those he held dear. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him and strength to those who carry forward his legacy of love, faith, and perseverance.
