James "Jamie" W. Crisp, Jr., age 47, of Donalds, husband of Lori Duffle Crisp, passed away, Sunday, April 6, 2025, at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital.
He was born November 29, 1977 in Clinton, SC, and was the son of the late James William Crisp, Sr. and Virginia Gertrude Overstreet Crisp. A proud graduate of Whitmire High School, class of '96, Jamie was an Eagle Scout and Scout Master, a dedicated member of Order of the Arrow, and was a self-proclaimed genius. Jamie was a member of Due West ARP Church, where he actively participated in youth activities and mission trips.
In addition to his wife, Jamie is survived by his sisters, Rebecca Ongemach (Scott) of Spartanburg, Renee Merritt of Clinton; Kimberly Carter (Kevin) of Newberry, Christina Brown Bourassa of Clinton; twenty-five nieces and nephews, and eighteen great-nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held, 4:00 PM, Sunday, April 13, 2025 at Due West ARP Church with Rev. Scott Moore, Rev. Calvin Draffin, Rev. Todd Johnson, and Rev. Jason McCary officiating. Burial will follow in the Church cemetery.
The family will greet visitors prior to the service from 2-4 PM at the Church.
