James F. Curtis, 64, of Novi, Michigan, passed away peacefully at Medilodge of Milford on January 23, 2025. Born on June 23, 1960, in Pontiac, Michigan, James, affectionately known as "Jimmy," lived a life full of dedication, hard work, and love for his family.
James retired as an engineer and land surveying layout technician, a career he truly loved and took great pride in. His meticulous attention to detail and passion for his work left a lasting impression on all who worked alongside him.
James is survived by his beloved daughters, Carman Slater of Novi and Tasha Curtis of Ohio, as well as many cherished grandchildren who brought him endless joy. He is also survived by his two brothers, Roger L. Curtis II of Novi and William (Rick) Curtis, and his two sisters, Karen Thompson Sumerfield of Florida and Chris Slater Dundas of Ontario. James treasured his family deeply and will be remembered for his warmth and devotion to them.
The family will hold a memorial service this summer to celebrate Jimmy's life and give friends and loved ones an opportunity to gather in his honor.
Jimmy will be remembered for his kind spirit, strong work ethic, and the love he shared with all who knew him. May he rest in peace, leaving behind a legacy of love and dedication.
