CUTHRELL, JAMES E., Sr. of Waterford; December 18, 2024; age 92; Loving husband of the late Sharon; Cherished father of Kim (Michael) Vagts, Sr., James (Dawn) Cuthrell, Jr., Penny (late Keith) Hishon, Tamera (Edward) Lemanski and Jane Cuthrell; Step father of Rodney, the late Brent, Sheri, Gerald, Lisa, Jamie, Mark, the late Wendy, and their children; Dear brother of Robert (Verna Hussey Wilson) Cuthrell, Marvin (Phyllis) Cuthrell, Shirley (late Theodore) Banks and predeceased by his siblings Alfred (Arrol), Charles (Carolyn), Thomas and Edith (Richard) Blue; Brother in law of Nancy Cuthrell; Beloved grandfather of 12 and great grandfather of 11; also survived by many nephews and nieces. Mr. Cuthrell was a Korean War veteran of the United States Army and worked for the General Motors Corporation, Fisher Body Division. He was a member of the American Legion Post 377. Mr. Cuthrell was an avid sportsman enjoying fishing, hunting, golf and softball. He bowled at Airway Lanes and Century Bowl. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the National Kidney Foundation. Inurnment Great Lakes National Cemetery.
