James Daugherty Obituary
Chris grew up and lived in the Southend, attending Western High School. In his younger days, he loved riding his motorcycle. He had a deep love for cars, trucks, and anything with wheels.
He was welcomed on the other side by his parents, Pete and Faye Daugherty, twin sisters lost in infancy, and his brothers, Frankie and Robbie Daugherty-who are probably already arguing over something up there. Left to keep his memory alive are his longtime partner of 21 years, Terri Brown; his daughter and proudest achievement, Jami Brown; and his stepchildren, Christine, Ruby, and Danny Risen. He also leaves behind his niece, Linda Nalley (Joe); nephew, Robert Powers; cousin and friend, Kevin Daugherty (Amanda); and former sister-in-law, Debbie Yates.
Family and friends are invited to swap stories and share laughs in his honor on Sunday, March 16th, from noon to 4 PM at Owen Funeral Home on Dixie Highway, with the funeral service beginning at 4 PM.
