James Cole "JD" Davidson, age 62, of Zelienople, passed away on Tuesday, August 5, 2025.

Born December 13, 1962, in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late Donald E. Davidson and Dolores J. Wimler Davidson.

JD was a member of the Zelienople American Legion and the Zelienople Hungarian Club; he also attended the Zelienople-Harmony Sportsmen's Club. In his free time, he also enjoyed being in nature, he was an avid outdoorsman that loved to camp and hunt. JD also was a fan of sports, especially the Pittsburgh Penguins and Steelers. He was a jokester and could manage to make anyone laugh, the affect he had was contagious and always managed to put a smile on others' faces. He loved going to the beach, where he would always help Mary look for seashells. Above all else, JD viewed his family as most important, and he showed this by taking care of his mother prior to her passing. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his significant other of 37 years, Mary E. Metzger; his brothers, Donald Davidson (Kim) of Evans City, Mike Davidson (Jill) of Evans City, and Scott Davidson (Jenn) of Allison Park; and several beloved nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, JD was preceded in death by his 22-year-old cat, Baxter.

Arrangements were entrusted to Boylan Funeral Home, Inc., 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople, PA 16063.
