On Friday, May 30, 2025, James E. Davis, II, 73, of Glen Rock, passed away peacefully with his companion of 27 years, Robin Conte, by his side. He was born on March 7, 1952, in York, to the late Romaine M. (Deardorff) and James E. Davis, Sr. James was a 1970 graduate of Susquehannock High School and then became a self-employed real estate investor. In his spare time he enjoyed playing in a local blue grass band and being a member of the Austin L. Grove American Legion, Post #403, in Glen Rock, and the White Rose VFW Post #556 in York.
James is survived by his loving companion, Robin Conte and his best friend, Bobby Burns.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 3, at 1pm, in New Hope "Fissel's" Church Cemetery, Glen Rock. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory are recommended to the American Heart Association, 4250 Crums Mill Rd., Ste. 100, Lancaster, PA 17112. Online condolences may be made at www.geiple.com.
