James Deardorff Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Cremation Services of East Alabama, Inc. - Anniston on Feb. 1, 2026.
James Donald Deardorff came into this world on December 14, 1990 in Indiana to Timothy Deardorff and Jamie Ferrell and he was the proud brother of Amanda, Tyler, Jessica, Brandy & Reonna. He was a force to be reckoned with, with a radiant soul whose light could always be seen in the dark and armed with a thirst for life, endless charm, a heart full of hope, untapped potential and a desire to make a difference, he would go on to change the lives of everyone that he met.

James was a jack of all trades AND a master of one and as a proud plumber, he met and impacted the lives of many. He had a deep love for learning, traveling, caring for all living creatures, as well as going out of his way to make someone's day just a little bit better and all of that is only surpassed by the love he always carried in his heart for his children and our Father in heaven. He was an unforgettable man and an incredible father.

He is survived by his father Tim Deardorff, his mother Jamie Ferrell, his siblings Amanda, Tyler, Jessica, Brandy & Reonna, his Aunts, Uncles and cousins as well as his beloved children Annilynn Elizabeth, Dakota James, Oliver Whitley and Evangeline Almarose who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts.

James left this world January 28th, 2026, at 35 years of age and although we will cherish his memory and miss him greatly, we take solace in the fact that he is free from this world and the impact that he left on others will continue to be felt through those lives he touched.

The Flournoy´s are praying for this family in their time of grief. My husband and I both knew deardorff. My husband knew him better. We are both plumbers and I would run into him while filling up my work truck at the gas station. He would always say hello and ask how my jobs were going. He was a kind person. I pray for the babies and family earnestly.
