Visiting Hours will be held in the Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Chestnut Street, ARLINGTON, on Wednesday, September 3rd from 4-7PM. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Agnes Church, 30 Medford Street, Arlington, on Thursday, September 4th at 11:30am. Relatives and friends can meet directly at the church. Burial will follow in Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jim's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis TN, 38105.
DOUCETTE, James F., of Stoneham, formerly of Cambridge, passed away on August 25, 2025, at the age of 66. Born in Cambridge, MA to the late Francis A. Doucette and Mary L. (Manganaro). Beloved husband of Harriet A. Doucette (Franks). Loving father of Derek and Danielle Doucette. Cherished Godson of Gina Johnston of Cambridge. James leaves behind

So sorry for your loss, Jimmy was a great guy who I knew through Hewlett Packard and Philips... He was a very knowledgeable and easy going coworker that always lent a hand when asked. He was a fun guy to work with and his humor made many people laugh. I'm sure that those who knew him will have a smile remembering him and his wit.
I pray that he knew Jesus and accepted him as our Lord and Savior, so that his soul will be saved in the after life. I pray for his family, that they heal from his loss but remember that we will see him again in the after life.
