Henrietta: Passed away on October 3, 2025 at age 89. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Virginia "Ginny" Duffy; parents, Margaret (O'Brien) & George Duffy; siblings, Margaret (Donald) Phelps & George (Patricia) Duffy.

He is survived by his children, Brian (Susan) Duffy, Sharon (Timothy) Sullivan, Daniel (Barbara) Duffy; grandchildren, Meaghan (David Burkard), Patrick (Roseanna) Duffy & Dylan Duffy (Emily Bellinger), Teryn (Evan Fullerton), Annalyse & Jacob Sullivan, Joseph & Stephen Duffy; great grandchildren: Gabrielle & Winston Duffy, Leighton Fullerton, Benjamin Burkard; and many family and dear friends.

Jim served in the US Navy and regaled many with his explorations of Iceland, Algeria, and Portugal while being stationed in Brunswick, Maine. Jim continued his professional life as a Master Electrician, working for Farrel Corporation for over twenty years, and continuing his career at Rochester Products.

Jim loved to tell the story of how he met his beloved wife Ginny in an alley…. (a bowling alley) He and Ginny celebrated life together for over fifty-nine years. Enjoying every moment with family and friends. Jim and Ginny reached their goal of traveling through every state in the union (minus one). In retirement years they enjoyed traveling not just within the United States, but also internationally. Jim was an avid sportsman enjoying fishing and hunting as well.

Jim fell in love with creating things from wood. His best known pieces are twig pots and candle tables. He lovingly created them and gifted them to family, friends, and even surprised many strangers. His passion for these creations leaves a legacy of love.

In later years, Jim grew a very flowing white beard. He was often joyfully identified as Santa Claus. He would hand out candy canes, ask young ones what they wanted for Christmas and tell them he was Santa's brother. The glint in his eye was convincing, his charm flowing.

Throughout their over sixty years in Henrietta, Jim and Ginny were blessed with incredible neighbors that have become family. Countless parties, evening walks, long conversations, celebrations, and care have been a gift. After Ginny's passing, Jim was blessed to have the care and love of those around him to help him navigate life.
