A Celebration of Life will be held for James Patrick "Pat" Duggan at 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at Cook Baptist Church, 2000 Cooktown Rd, Ruston, LA, 71270. Bro. Joseph Fowler and Jason Ambrose will be officiating.
A visitation will occur prior to the service, beginning at 12 Noon until service time at Cook Baptist Church.
Pat was born on March 12, 1942, in Ruston, LA and went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on August 6, 2025. He was a member of Cook Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon. He retired from the Lincoln Parish Sheriff's Department in 2016.
Pat was preceded in death by his parents; Fred W. and Sarah Sanderson Duggan; his parents in law, WR and Maurice McGaha Seamans; his brother, David Hedgepeth; his infant brother, FW Duggan; and his brother-in-law, Mike Seamans.
Pat is survived by his wife, Marion S. Duggan; his daughters, Mischa Ambrose(Todd), and Nicole Hollowell(Pete); his son, Scott Duggan(Tonya); his grandchildren, Dustin Ambrose(Haylee), Taylor Ambrose(Taylor K), Madeline Kitchens, and Kelsey Duggan; his great-grandchildren, Piper Ambrose, JP Ambrose, and Ezra Ambrose; his sister, Sarah Duggan Brouillette(Tony), his sisters-in-law, Maureen Britt(Monty), and Janice Seamans; brother-in-law, Billy R. Seamans(Drew); and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Special thanks to Taylor Allen and Tamela Thompson and the staff of Elara Caring Hospice.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Cook Baptist Church Building fund or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
