Billy was born on December 21, 1961, in Birmingham, AL and passed away on October 4, 2025, in Shreveport, LA. He was a member of Fish Net Worship Center in West Monroe, LA. Billy is preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Carolyn Whitman Ferguson and his brother, Alan Ferguson.
He is survived by his wife Lisa Freeman Ferguson; children, De'An Ferguson Gates (Jamie); Melissa Ferguson Atkins (Justin); Kari Ferguson; grandchildren, Rylee Chapie, Laynee Gates, Judah Atkins; brothers, Jimmy Ferguson and Tim Ferguson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Raegan Atkins, Jamie Gates, Justin Atkins, William Rhodes, Elijah Rhodes, and Rylee Chapie.
A Memorial Service will be planned for a later date.
