He was born on October 16, 1944 in Detroit Michigan to Mr. John Edward Dunham and Mrs. Elizabeth Jane Stuart. He worked as a handyman. James was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend to many.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Tracey Shinault; son, Joey McDade; brother, Jon Dunham; sister, Janet Dunham.
James is survived by his wife, Donna Dunham; children, Kelly Dunham, Debra Ann Burrum (Eric), Angella Jones (Ernie), Mark Dunham (Laura); grandchildren, Joey, Stephanie, Michael, Tiffany, Lauryn, Brenda, Robert, Jordan, Mackenzie, Mason, and Ava; 8 great grandchildren; other extended family and friends.
Memorial Services for Mr. James Zellers Dunham will be held on Monday, September 15, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. at Benson Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held from 12 P.M. until the time of the service at 2 P.M. at Benson Funeral Home.
Benson Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mr. James Zellers Dunham.
