Howell Strickland Obituary

He was born on June 16, 1938 in Dallas, Georgia to Mr. George Humphrey Strickland and Mrs. Lila Boyd Strickland. He worked and retired from General Motors. Mr. Strickland was also active in the local Masonic Lodge. He was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend to many.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Anna Bell Strickland; niece, Sister "Sissy" Shipp.
Howell is survived by his children, Janet Strickland McDaniel, Julie Strickland, Allyson Rhodes (Joey), David Kennedy (Michelle); grandchildren, William Howell Tibbitts, Tyler Hudgins, Miranda Hudgins, Hailey McDaniel, Morgan Kennedy, Madeleine Kennedy, Lynleigh Cosper, Adam Hudgins; 12 great grandchildren; other extended family and friends.
Funeral Services for Mr. Howell Rogers Strickland will be held on Thursday, September 18, 2025 at 2 P.M. at Benson Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held on Thursday from 12 P.M. until the time of the service at 2 P.M.
Benson Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mr. Howell Rogers Strickland.
