James Robert Ellis, Jr., age 70 of Taneytown, Md., died at his home after a long illness on Monday August 11, 2025. Born February 2, 1955, he was the son of the late James Robert Ellis, Sr., and Edna Louise (Oliver) Ellis.
Jim was a volunteer fire fighter in Charles County MD for over 30 years. He enjoyed going to car shows with his pride and joy, his Mustang Cobra.
He is survived by his long-loving companions Jo-Ann Cyr and their cat, Nitro; and his siblings, Helen Elizabeth Faunce, John Edward Ellis, Beverly Ann Copsey and Steven Allen Ellis.
