James "Jim" Russell Ferguson, 73 of Battle Creek, Michigan passed away March 23rd 2024.
Jim was born August 23rd 1950 to Thomas Ferguson and LouAnna (Cline) Tomey in Washington, Indiana.
Jim attended Constantine High School and graduated from Miller Stone in Battle Creek Michigan. Jim was once was a union member of the Amalgamated Meat Cutters and a member of The Seventh Day Adventist Church. Jim enjoyed riding motorcycles, watching sports, and watching movies with family. Jim worked for Miller Wholesale for 14 years and at Securitas for 13 years. Jim loved to be with his family and enjoyed hanging out with friends and drinking coffee at his favorite places: Mr. Don's and Ritzee.
Jim is proceeded in death by his father Thomas Ferguson, mother LouAnna (Cline) Tomey, step mother Juanita Ferguson, step father Charles Tomey, brother Thomas Lavalle Ferguson and son Floyd Harold Ferguson. Jim was an amazing man and had a heart of gold. Jim always helped others in need or gave advice to anyone who needed it. Jim will truly be missed by his wife, kids, grandchildren, great grandchildren and many friends.
Jim is survived by his wife of 41 years, Denise (Geark) Ferguson, his sister Doris Ellis, his daughters Lindsey Ferguson, Melissa Horn (Chris), Katrina Juàrez Monterroso (Jorge), and Tabitha Ball, his son James Russell Ferguson II, his stepchildren Frank Hand (Crystal) and Brian Hand, his 21 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
