James Fisher Obituary
James Holcombe Fisher, age 89 years, former Hunterdon County, NJ resident, passed away on Sunday, August 17, 2025, in Florida.
Born in Trenton, NJ, September 29, 1935, he was the son of the late Irene Baird and James Q. Fisher. He was formerly employed as an accountant with Hill Refrigeration. After retiring, he moved to Tamarac, Florida thirty years ago.
Jim was a graduate of Flemington High School, Class of 1953.
He was pre-deceased by his parents, James Q. Fisher and Irene Baird Fisher; his stepmother, Hazel Fisher; his brothers, Kenneth Fisher, Charles Fisher, Robert Fisher and his sister, Betty Pyatt as well as his nephew, Robert Fisher. He was also pre-deceased by his partner, Bernard Pietrowski.
Surviving are two nephews, William Pyatt and James Fisher.
Initial cremation services were provided by Bailey Memorial, 6701 West Commercial Boulevard, Tamarac, FL 33319.
Final arrangements and burial in the family plot at Union Cemetery, Boss Road, Ringoes, NJ were private under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ 08822.
