James Robert Fleagle Jr.

James Robert Fleagle, Jr., 59, went to be with the Lord on February 2, 2026, peacefully in his East Waterford home surrounded by his family. He is survived by his wife, Melinda R. Clayton.

Born May 25, 1966, in Chambersburg, he was the son of the late James R. Fleagle, Sr. and Rachel D. (McLaughlin) Fleagle.

Professionally, he dedicated his life to construction and pipeline work. He was a member of Laborer's Local Union 824 since 1998.

He was a devoted husband, father, pappy and friend, whose presence touched everyone who knew him. He loved spending time with his grandsons, taking them hunting, and sharing the thrill of their first deer. He was an avid outdoorsman, loved collecting turkey calls and enjoyed playing guitar with his close friends.

Surviving with his wife, Melinda, are 2 grandsons, Waylon and Weston Kolbe, 2 daughters, Bobbie Kolbe (Jan) of Blairs Mills and Casey Fleagle of Reedsville, PA. Also surviving are 4 sisters, Susan Seagraves (Lenny) of Orville, OH, Karen Newell (Roger) of Newville, PA, Judy Devlin (John) of Shade Gap and Marietta Hamilton (Richard) of Burnt Cabins, and nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Teresa Fleagle, and a brother, Ricky Fleagle.

A special thank you to his hospice nurse, Deb and family and friends who offered a helping hand and support.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday February 7th at 2:00 pm in the Agett-Lakjer Funeral Home, 16715 Path Valley Road, Spring Run, PA with Pastor Judy Rowles, officiating. The Family will receive friends at the funeral home 1 hour prior to the service.
