James "Bobby" Robert Fleming, 43, passed away Wednesday, November 12, 2025, in Hernando, MS, leaving behind a legacy of laughter, love, and music that will resonate forever in the hearts of those who knew him.
A visitation will be held Sunday, November 16, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., with a celebration of life following at 3:00 p.m., all at Coleman Funeral Home of Southaven (626 Star Landing Road East Southaven, MS 38671). Michael Moore will officiate. Coleman Funeral Home of Southaven is in charge of arrangements.
James was a gifted musician whose passion for Contemporary Christian music shone brightly in everything he did. A talented composer and performer, he could make any instrument come alive - from the guitar and drums to the piano. His music was not just a craft, but an expression of his faith and joy, touching everyone who heard it.
Beyond his music, James was known for his incredible sense of humor and his deep love for his children. He filled his home and community with warmth, laughter, and kindness. Those who spent time with him will always remember his quick wit, his generous spirit, and the way he could make any moment brighter.
James' legacy will live on through his children, his music, and the countless lives he enriched. He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
James is survived by his wife, Emilye Bates Fleming of Hernando; his six children, Brooklyn Fleming of Littleton, CO, Kaitlyn Fleming, James Landon Fleming and Annabelle Fleming, all of Middleton, TN, Paisley Fleming of Hernando, and a son to be born in 2026, James Cannon Fleming; his parents, Deborah and James "Steve" Fleming of Hernando; his siblings Michael (Stephanie) Pate of Southaven, Amanda (Josh) Ortiz of League City, TX, and Lindsay Moses of Southaven; his four nieces and nephews; and many extended relatives and friends.
