Douglas is survived by his loving wife Julie, Son Justin (Jamie), 8 Grandchildren, Parents James Douglas Sr. and Carolyn Fletcher, Sister Cheryl Morris (Tom), in laws James and Annette Moore, several nieces and nephews and extended family.
The family will receive friends on Saturday May 31, from 4-6 pm with a celebration of life at 6:00 pm in Amory Funeral Home.

I'm so shocked to hear of Fletcher's passing! I met him when I was driving for Van Mitchell over 25 yrs. ago! I always enjoyed working the same site & admired him, watching his business grow over the years, I know his family was very proud of him. I'm so sorry for your loss.

I am so sorry for your loss. I really enjoyed working with Doug. He helped me at my field with the dirt and milling. He was a very hard worker and enjoyed watching him with his dog who came along on some jobs. He will definitely be missed

I´m sorry to hear about Doug. It´s so hard to lose a child. When Mike called I couldn´t believe it. Praying for the whole family and knowing what you are feeling. Far to many of us losing our children.

We are so sad to hear about Doug. We knew him mostly as a boy and a teenager. We remember him being very outgoing and enjoyed having fun.
