Frostburg, MD-James "Jim" William Fletcher, Jr., 67, of Frostburg, MD, passed away on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at Mt. City Rehab Center.
Born December 30, 1957, in Cumberland, MD, Mr. Fletcher was the son of the late James William Fletcher, Sr. and Martha Pearl (Barnes) Fletcher. He was also preceded in death by a brother: Ira Fletcher and wife Lavon.
Jim was a graduate of Flintstone High School Class of 1975 and retired from Ritchie Trucking and Excavating. His life revolved around trucks and was involved in many convoys and parades over the years.
Jim is survived by his wife of 25 years: Darlene Fletcher; his daughter: Latasha Fletcher; his son: Daniel Fletcher; his grandchildren: Jquan Fletcher and Braylee Fletcher; his stepson: Ricky Butler; his step-granddaughter: Rebekah Butler; and a brother: Paul Fletcher and wife Nancy; as well as his nephews and a niece.
Friends will be received at Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur Street, Cumberland, MD (www.adamsfamilyfuneralhome.com) on Thursday, October 16, 2025 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Friday, October 17, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. with Tim Wotring officiating.
Interment will be in Glendale Cemetery.
