James "Jim" Addison Foreman, 88, of Piketon, Ohio passed 1:15 a.m., Thursday, February 27, 2025 at Adena Regional Medical Center, Chillicothe.
Jim was born April 28, 1936, in Shadesville, Ohio, the son of the late Walter James Foreman and Alma Irene (Lewis) Foreman. On August 24, 1957, he was united in marriage to Barbara Ann (Sanders) Foreman, who preceded him in death March 1, 2013.
He is survived by a son, Dennis James Foreman; daughter, Pamela Marie Mays and husband Charles; three grandchildren, Charles Edward Mays, III and wife Erin, Amanda Marie Johnson and husband Johnathan, and James Clay Mays and wife Courtney; eight great-grandchildren, Kenzie Mays, Kalynn Mays, Lacy Mays, Addison Johnson, Abrial Johnson, Jayce Johnson, Clayton James Mays, and Sullivan Michael Cearley; special friend, Dee and Debra Cearley.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, a son, Michael James Foreman, and sister, June Watters.
Jim was a retired CCI Quartermaster and an Auxiliary Police Officer for the Village of Piketon. He enjoyed traveling, especially to the beach. His favorite things to watch were wrestling, NASCAR, Jeopardy!, Wheel of Fortune, Andy Griffith, and the Ohio State Buckeyes. Jim was an incredibly loving person with a great sense of humor, he loved his family, life, and just about everyone.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m., Monday, March 3, 2025, at the Howe Wheeler Boyer Funeral Home, Piketon, Ohio with Brian Hedden officiating. Burial will follow at Mound Cemetery, Piketon, Ohio with graveside rights performed by CCI honor guard.
The family will receive friends 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Sunday, March 2, 2025 and one hour prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home.
