James was born in Youngstown, Ohio, December 04, 1947 and raised just a short distance away in Liberty, Ohio, a community that shaped his strong work ethic, generous heart, and deep-rooted values. From an early age, James showed a sense of responsibility and commitment beyond his years. At just 16 years old, he was already lending a hand on a neighbor's farm in Liberty, learning the value of hard work and the satisfaction of helping others.
A graduate of liberty School, James was known not only for his dedication but for his warm and joyful personality. He had a gift - a wonderful sense of humor that could light up a room. Whether it was a quiet smile or a burst of laughter, James had a way of lifting spirits and making people feel welcome, heard, and loved.
As a teenager, he shared many joyful moments fishing with his sister Mary and her children. Those were cherishe times of laughter, stories, and bonding by the water. He also spent his early years helping his parents with gardening, house chores, and working on the family's ld model truck. James believed in pitching in, doing what needed to be done, and doing it with love.
James Gilbert Frampton, 77 joined his late spouse Chong Suk Frampton, and his parents and sister. He has left behind a sister, Barbara Frampton, and children and their spouses, Robert E. Bond (& Alice), Lee H. Holland (&Rodney), Susan L. Frampton, James E. Frampton (& Donna), and Suzanne L. Frampton, and many nephews and nieces along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
James Gilbert Frampton, our beloved Father and brother, passed away on Saturday, May 03, 2025, at the age of 77. A Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm, followed by a Celebration of Life at 1:30 pm, on Friday, May 16, 2025, at Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast, 4631 Hondo Pass Drive.
