JAMES STANLEY GALE

James Stanley "Stan" Gale was born in Oklahoma City on the 28th of February 1956 to James Robert and Rosemary Gale. He was the third, and last, born and was always and forever his Mom's "baby boy". He graduated from Milwood Highschool, studied at Oklahoma State University and soon joined his Dad in the family business, Gale Drywall and Acoustics. Stan enjoyed all that life had to offer including spending time with his wife, Gena Gale (m.2004), his friends, riding his motorcycles, cruising the lake, playing blackjack and craps at the casino but most of all, he enjoyed being a Dad. Stan was the best (and longest) storyteller, would laugh at his jokes well before the punchline and loved a good tune. On February 10th, 2026, Stan passed away in Norman Oklahoma. He was preceeded in death by his mother, father, and brother Mike Gale. He will be greatly missed by his wife Gena, her son Colby King, his daughter Shannon Eslick and her husband Courtney, his grandchildren, sister Debbye Nevore, nieces and nephew, cousins, friends and all his wonderful caregivers at Grace Living Center.
