From his daughter Janet:
Jim Gallivan passed away on Thursday. He was a wonderful man and father and I know I was blessed to have him in my life as long as I did. He loved us kids, our Mom, his grandkids, and Karen with all his heart and we loved him back just as much. He lived life to the fullest, cursed like crazy, laughed with reservation and "didn't give a rat's ass" what other people thought. We talked every week and I am so grateful for that. At the end of every call he would say "I love you sweetheart, please, please, please stay safe." I will Dad, and I know he is with Chris and will watch over us all until we meet again.
