James loved the Lord and served as a pastor in several area Congregational Holiness churches over the years. He and Juanita were called to the mission field and loved nothing more than witnessing together to others. James was Head of Missions for the North Alabama District of the Congregational Holiness Church for four years and was truly a servant of Christ. He served his country in the US Navy on the USS Helena and was proud to be a veteran. As a skilled machinist and businessman, James started Gadsden Machine and Roll in 1976 and Anniston Plating and Metal Finishing.
The family would like to give special thanks to James' great-niece who was also his caregiver, Traci Parris, and to Enhabit Home Health and Hospice for their continued support and care.
Per the family's request, those wishing to send flowers are respectfully asked to make a donation to a charity of your choice in James' memory.
