James "Jamie" Harold Green, 51, of Mineral Bluff, passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2023. Jamie was born November 18, 1972, in Ducktown, TN to Ruth Verner and the late Reverend James H. Smith.
Jamie was preceded in death by dad, Reverend James H. Smith; grandparents, Reverend Bill and Helen Ruth Smith, and Reverend Steve and Marcella Allen; Uncle, Thomas Allen; and Aunt, Louise Hawkins.
He is survived by his Mother, Ruth Verner, Sister, Daphne (Kenny) Martin of Turtletown, Tennessee; Brother, Chad (Kelley) Green of Mineral Bluff, Georgia; Sister Haley (Lew) Ayers of Talking Rock, Georgia, and several nieces, nephews, and other family survive.
He was of the Baptist Faith.
Funeral Service on Saturday January 6, 2024, at 2:00 PM, at Henry-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Blue Ridge, Georgia with Rev. Nathan Campbell officiating. Music provided by David Bice and Brooke and Silas Campbell. Interment will follow in the Patterson Cemetery in McCaysville, Georgia.
The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Landon Guinn, Kaden Martin, Kaleb Green, Karter Green, Steven Allen, and Khole Green. Honorary Pallbearers include; Terry Ross, Dale Jackson, Richard Campbell, Lew Ayers, Kenny Martin, David Bice, Eric Nations and Jake Allen.
The family will receive friends at Henry-Cochran Funeral Home on Saturday, January 6, 2024, from 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM.
In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to help with funeral expenses.
