James “Greg” Frisz, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Thursday, September 26, 2024, at the age of 64. Beloved husband of Rebecca Frisz; cherished son of the late James P. and Sharon Kaye Frisz. Devoted father of Micheal (Jessica) Frisz, Joseph Frisz, and Lauren Frisz; loving grandfather of Kennedy, Gabriella, Wyatt, Arabella, and Isla Frisz; dear brother of Anne Michelle (Robert) Baker and Beth Ann (Michael) Rhoades; nephew of Ed (Karen) Soloman; loving uncle, cousin, and friend to many.
Greg was a unique and intelligent human being, so gifted in so many ways, so loved and appreciated. He was humble, genuine, and hardworking. He shared stories in a way that would have you rolling on the floor and common sense to the core. A captivating storyteller, his sarcasm and humor had its endearing qualities too. He was talented and dedicated towards all his interests yet would drop what he was doing to help anyone and everyone. There wasn’t a thing he couldn’t do or figure out and do better. He enjoyed building Hotrods, remote control airplanes, and woodworking, but especially spending time with his grandchildren, actively participating in their lives. He was a wonderful husband, father, brother, and true friend to all. He endured health issues his entire life, by no fault of his own, and battled them like the fighter he was. His beloved wife, Becky of 41 years, was by his side every inch of the way. Greg was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Memorials may be made in Greg's name to Breakthrough T1D and Humane Society of Missouri.
