James "Tony" Anthony Gregorich, 51, of Maquoketa, Iowa, passed away on May 21, 2025, at UnityPoint Finley Hospital in Dubuque, Iowa.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Otter Creek.
Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 a.m. at the church with Rev. David Ambrosy officiating. Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery, Sylvia Switch in Zwingle with military honors to be accorded by the Iowa Army National Guard. Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Road, is assisting the family.
Tony was born on January 7, 1974, in Dubuque, Iowa, the son of James M. and Agnes M. (Ronek) Gregorich. He graduated from Cascade High School in 1992. He drove for Simon's Trucking in Farley, Iowa, and honorably served his country in the Iowa Army National Guard for eight years. Tony lived the bachelor life to the fullest and did things his way on his time. He loved his many nieces and nephews. He enjoyed driving, whether it was a semi or a motorcycle.
Tony is survived by his parents James and Agnes Gregorich, siblings Patrick (Melissa) Gregorich, Daniel (Jennifer) Gregorich, Matthew (Kim) Gregorich, Charley (Sarah) Gregorich, Julie Gregorich, and Jackie (Justin) Baumgartner, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents James L. and Delores Gregorich, and James and Loretta Ronek.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of UnityPoint Finley's ICU unit, and the Key West EMS.
