James "Don" Odon Guagliardo

James "Don" Odon Guagliardo passed away at home surrounded by his family on Tuesday, August 9, 2022, in Ponchatoula, Louisiana, at the age of 80. He was born on Saturday, November 22, 1941 in Hammond, Louisiana to the late Kitty Cooper Guagliardo and the late Tony Guagliardo. He was a resident of Ponchatoula, Louisiana. Don is survived by his wife of 60 years, Pam Oldham Guagliardo; children, Jay Guagliardo and his wife, Melissa, Mike Guagliardo and his wife, Bree, Dixie Fletcher and her husband, Gene, and Kortni Blanchard and her husband, Jeremy; grandchildren, LeAnne, Lindsay, Lauren, Shelley, Corey, Toni, Dustyn, Jessi, William, Katelynn, Johnny, Brody, Hannah, Gene, Landon, Anthony, and Ruby Jane; 21 great-grandchildren; brother, Tony Guagliardo and his wife, Linda; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Don is preceded in death by his grandchildren, Felicity Guagliardo and Cody Guagliardo; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, John and Dixie Oldham. A celebration of life for Don will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Kitty Guagliardo Memorial Scholarship Fund in Don's honor.
