James Eric Hand passed away September 25, 2025, at the age of 61.
James was born April 10, 1964, in Fort Worth, Texas, to father James Edmund Hand and mother Martha Delores Hand. James graduated from Everman High School and attended 2 years at Tarrant County Junior College taking courses in Data Processing. James attended Everman Baptist Church and Worth Baptist Church. James enjoyed computer programming and modifying his 1965 mustang.
James is preceded in death by his father James Hand in 2004, his mother Martha Hand in 2022, his brother Walter Alan Hand in 2021.
Those left to remember James are his sisters, Connie Sue Floyd, Leslie DeAnn Moss and her spouse Tim Muried; brother, Edmund Wayne Hand and spouse Ruby Faye Hand; nieces, Melinda Monasco, Kalista Moss, Emily Ardoin, Christine Jones; grand-niece, Lauren Monasco . The family would like to extend a special thanks to Minnie Hadley of House of Peace for the care and compassion shown to James.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to schizophrenia and psychosis research.
