Michael Wayne Burge, born on October 30, 1968, in Fort Worth, Texas, passed away peacefully on October 1, 2025. He was a beloved father, son, brother, and friend, cherished by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Michael was a devoted driver for B&H Wrecker and an accomplished member of an ambulance manufacturing team, where his dedication and hard work were evident. Throughout his life, he took pride in his career, which reflected his desire to serve his community and assist others in times of need.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Michael found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He loved to spend weekends fishing, hunting, and riding his Harley, often sharing these cherished moments with his family and friends. His adventurous spirit and love for the outdoors were infectious, drawing many into his world of excitement and joy.
He graduated from Burleson High School, where he cultivated lasting friendships and fond memories that would stay with him throughout his life.
Michael leaves behind his three adoring daughters, Paige Luttmure and her husband Greg, Meagan Sims and her husband Blaine, and Emma Burge; his sons, Chandler Touchone, Tyler Cohen, a stepson, and Dillion Self. His legacy also lives on through his mother, Patsy Burge, sisters Charlolette Craig and her husband Corey, and brother Richard Eaton and his wife Shauna. He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Caroline Luttmure, Creedence Luttmure, Branson Sims, Jackson Cohen, and Bradie Sims, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends who brought light to his life.
Michael was preceded in death by his father, Donnie Mac Burge, and his relatives, Beatrice Hicks, Clyde Hicks, and Charles Hicks. Their memories will forever be cherished as a part of his rich tapestry of life.
A funeral service will be held on October 7, 2025, at 4:00 PM at Skyvue Funeral Home located at 7220 Rendon Bloodworth Rd, Mansfield, TX 76063, followed by a graveside service at Evergreen Cemetery in Paris, TX on October 8, 2025, at 1:00 PM.
While the world feels a bit dimmer without Michael, his spirit will continue to shine through the love and memories he shared with those he touched. He will be dearly missed but always remembered for the joy he brought to those around him.
