Jane Ann Walker Canull, 88, passed away on Saturday December 6th, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Visitation: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, December 12, 2025 at White's Funeral Home, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford.
Funeral Service: 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 13, 2025 at Highland Park United Methodist Church, 3300 Mockingbird Lane, Dallas, Texas 75205.
Interment will follow the service at Granbury Cemetery, 200 E. Moore St. @ N. Crockett, Granbury, Texas 76048.
Jane was born in Fort Worth, Texas, and grew up in Burleson, where she graduated from Burleson High School in 1955. She was proud to be part of the school’s first cheerleading squad.
Jane later moved to Houston with her two young daughters and worked hard to build a good life for her family. She devoted her all to her girls. In 1975, she met the love of her life, Ed Canull, and on April 4, their two families became one. In 1978, as empty nesters, Jane and Ed moved to Weatherford, Texas, where they made their home on Canull Lane. Jane retired from PNC Bank in 2008.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, going to church, traveling with her daughters, gardening, and feeding birds and wildlife. She also loved cheering for the Texas Rangers. Jane often expressed how grateful she felt, saying, “I am so blessed, Girl!”
Jane is survived by her daughters, Virginia Gay Hill James (and husband Gary), Julie Ann Hill Olson, and her daughter-in-law Kathryn Virginia Canull; her grandchildren Christopher Maxey (and wife Rebecca), Rachel Maxey Pardo (and husband Arnold), and Marshall Olson (and wife Karen); seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Clyde Canull; her brother, William Benjamin Walker; and her son, Stephen Edward Canull.
Jane will be remembered for her kindness, her love for her family, and the joy she brought to those around her.
