James Daniel Harmon, 63, of Lawrence, Kan., left this life on March 26, 2025, at his home. Jim was born June 21, 1961, in Grand Forks, North Dakota, the son of Margaret (Kemerling) and William Harmon.

He was an exceptional leader and mentor, always providing support and encouragement to everyone. He made a difference to so many lives in a positive way during his time with DCF. He was a beloved colleague by all who had the opportunity to work with him.
