Heath, James Carlton, age 80, of Mt. Juliet, TN died August 21, 2022. James was born in Charlotte, TN and was the son of the late, James Slayton Heath and Leafie Elizabeth Pack Heath. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and earned his Bachelor's degree from MTSU. James was an avid golfer and of fan of the Mt. Juliet Bears, Greenhill Hawks and UT. He mostly enjoyed watching the grandchildren and great-grandchildren at their events and was their biggest fan. James was also preceded in death by 4 brothers and 1 sister.

He is survived by:
Wife of 45 years – Diane Heath
Children – Lori (Bill) Craig, Kelley Robinson, Corey Barnes, April (Woody) Graves and Sunny (Kindell) Stephens, Jr.
Sister – Joyce (Alton) Petty
29 Grandchildren and 10 Great-grandchildren

Family and friends will gather to Celebrate the Life of James beginning at 3 p.m. Saturday, September 24, 2022 at his home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Children's Miracle Network.
