James Conrad Heath

James Conrad Heath was born July 3rd, 1948, in Bryan, Texas to Margie Lorene (Maddox) and Dude Heath. He passed away September 13th, 2025, in College Station. James was a beloved and treasured husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend.

James raised his family and built his business in Brazos County where he established a reputation for honesty, integrity, and endless generosity. He will forever be remembered for his kindness, his love of family, and his service to the community he loved. James was an avid bass fisherman, competing in tournaments nationwide, and cultivating countless lifelong friendships along the way. James also enjoyed restoring and showing classic trucks alongside his wife, Dana. He was a true American patriot. James and Dana hosted legendary July 4th celebrations, a tradition his family will continue in his honor.

James leaves a legacy of dedication, perseverance, and hard work. He was a successful businessman, working tirelessly throughout his entire life to ensure the future security of his family. He will be greatly missed by his friends, family, business associates, customers, and all that were fortunate enough to have known him.

James was preceded in death by his parents, Margie and Dude Heath and brother, Lester Heath. He is survived by Dana, his amazing wife of 29 years, son, James David Heath, daughter, D'Anna Heath DeAtley, stepson, Dusty Arrington and wife Aimee, grandchildren, Heather Heath and wife Brentney, Hannah Heath, Noah DeAtley and wife Griselda, Garrett DeAtley, Ashlynn Arrington and Aiden Arrington, great-grandchildren, Tatum DeAtley and Olivia DeAtley, and his loyal dog, Reba.

The family would like to sincerely thank all the friends, neighbors and family who've prayed for us, shared their condolences and provided support during this incredibly difficult time.

A celebration of James's life is planned for 4:00, October 18th at Patriot Farm in South College Station at 5395 Hickory Ln, College Station, TX 77845.

James had a servant's heart and passion for feeding both animals and people. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, a donation be made to the Brazos Valley Food Bank, a local animal rescue, or charity of your choice.
