James R. Hollaway Jr.

James R. Hollaway, Jr., 28, of Memphis, formerly of Rock Falls, died on Monday, June 4, 2018 in Memphis, Tenn. He was born on July 24, 1989 in Long Beach, Calif. to James Hollaway and Kelli Larkin. Jim enjoyed horses, being outdoors, and spending time with his friends. He moved to Memphis two months ago to start a new job and a new life. He is survived by his father, James (Dawn) Hollaway, of Rock Falls and his parents Kelli (Joe) Larkin, of Rock Falls; a son, Channing Bellows, of Harmon; his paternal grandparents, Robert (Joyce) Hollaway, of Sterling; his maternal grandmother, Mildred Hodapp, of Dixon; two sisters, Jerrika Hollaway (Jared McPherson), of Sterling and Angel Doyle, of Rock Falls; three brothers, Blaze Hollaway, of Rock Falls, Austin Larkin, of Rock Falls, and Matthew Doyle, of Rock Falls; a step-brother, Devin Hughes, of Bloomington; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; and his "Dirty Bois" brothers. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, from 3-7 PM at McDonald Funeral Home in Rock Falls with cremation rites following. The memorial service will be held on Wednesday at 11AM at the funeral home with Reverend Daniel Behmlander, officiating. A memorial has been established in his memory.
