James Holstein Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by D'Anjolell Barone Memorial Home of Wallingford on Jan. 3, 2026.
James "Jim" Joseph Holstein, died Tuesday, December 30th 2025 at home in Blackwood, New Jersey. Jim was born and raised in Darby, PA. He was employed by UPS for 30 years and was a skilled professional painter for most of his adult life. There's no better way to say it than this; Jim lived life his way. Rules weren't really his thing, and he had a charm that somehow could get him out of just about anything. A man of many hobbies, Jim could often be found building something for his train sets or creating something entirely unexpected in his own backyard. Above all else, he was happiest with his family. His greatest joy came from making sure the people he loved were happy. His family finds peace in knowing he is reunited with his son, Jay. Preceded in death by his son, James "Jay" Holstein, his father James J. Holstein Sr. and his mother-in-law Linda Pryor. Jim's love is carried on by his survivors: His wife of 30 years, Kimberly (Ervin) Holstein; his daughters, Nikki (Bob) Holstein, Kellee (Steve) Holstein and Jamie Holstein; his beloved grandchildren, Vienna, Gio, Jesse, Tommy and Kylee. His mother, Margaret Holstein (nee Bean) and dear sisters, Margie (Jeff) Holstein and Rie Holstein. Services: Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing, Wednesday, January 7th 9:00 AM – 10:45 AM followed by his Funeral Service at 11:00 AM at the D'anjolell-Barone Memorial Home of Wallingford, 908 S. Providence Rd, Wallingford, Pa. 19086. Interment Fernwood Cemetery. Contributions in James' memory may be made to the Tunnels to Towers Foundation at https://t2t.org/
