In Loving Memory of James Tommy Jameson March 28, 1933 – July 14, 2025
Age 92 | Loudon, Tennessee
James Tommy Jameson, age 92, of Loudon, Tennessee, passed away peacefully at his home on July 14, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born on March 28, 1933, in Philadelphia, TN, Tommy was the beloved son of the late Garrett and Bertha Jameson. A proud veteran of the United States Army, he carried the values of service, honor, and humility throughout his life. He later retired from a long and dedicated career with Marmont & Purdy Bros. Trucking.
Tommy was a faithful member of Steekee Creek Baptist Church for over 57 years, where he found deep joy in fellowship and worship. He had a passion for the simple pleasures of life: fishing, hunting, tending to his prized tomatoes, and feeding the deer that often visited his yard. His gentle spirit, tireless work ethic, and genuine kindness touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Delores Oody Jameson, his parents, and his siblings: Lucille Dowers, Mildred Nesbitt, Buddy Jameson, Roy Jameson, Kate Thomas, Lola Sturgeon, Dorothy Hinkle, and an infant brother.
Tommy is survived by his wife, Lois Pass Jameson,; his loving children: Larry (Teresa) Jameson, Susan (Mike) Orr, and Randy (Cathy) Jameson; and a special cousin who was like a daughter to him, Helen (Shaun) Thompson.
He was the proud grandfather of Greg (Tiffany) Jameson, Dusty (Ashleigh) Jameson, Austin Jameson, Niki (Jonathan) Parris, Lacey Orr, Cole Jameson, and Avery Jameson; and great-grandfather to Callan (Dustin) Kennedy, Kristin & Brady Jameson, Karson & Asher Jameson, Wyatt & Hayden Parris, and Hunter Stallings.
Tommy is also survived by his sisters, Edna Roberts and Helen Wrathall, as well as many cherished nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to Tracy, Paige, Cassie & the team at Caris Healthcare, and his devoted caretaker Jimmy Russell from Senior Helpers, for their compassionate care in his final days.
