James “Jim” Adkins, age 91, of Oak Hill, Ohio passed away Sunday, September 28th, 2025, at his home. Jim was born in Elton, Wisconsin on July 15th, 1934, to the late Ira and Vernie Adkins.
Jim is survived by his wife, Carrie (Brown) Adkins of Oak Hill, Ohio; his son, Jamie (Debbie) Adkins of Palm Bay, Florida; his sisters, Helen and Patricia “Boots”; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and several niece and nephews.
Besides his parents, Jim was preceded in death by several siblings.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd, 2025, from 12PM-1PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill with a service immediately after at 1PM. Burial will follow at Monroe Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillum.com.
