Mr. James “Jim” Edward McDaniel

Aiken, SC-- Mr. James “Jim” Edward McDaniel, age 76, entered into rest on October 13, 2025 at Piedmont Hospital of Augusta. He was born in Cincinnati, OH to the late Mr. James Brown McDaniel, and the late Mrs. Irene McDaniel. He made Aiken, SC his home for the past 48 years. Mr. McDaniel attended Cedar Creek Church, Banks Mill campus. He worked as an insurance agent for Mark Taylor Associates in Aiken, SC for the past 39 years. Mr. McDaniel, as well as Mrs. Mary McDaniel, was the founder and the former owner of the Country Square Mobile Park on E. Pine Log Road of Aiken. He enjoyed living in Aiken and going to downtown and the Alley. He also enjoyed looking into his Scottish heritage and was an avid Indiana Hoosier fan. Mr. McDaniel was loved by all who met him and was an amazing father and grandfather. Survivors include two sons, Corey Michael McDaniel, Aiken, and Jacob Andrew McDaniel, Aiken; two stepdaughters, Adrienne Gilbert Gamble, Rutherfordton, NC, and Devin Taylor, Rutherfordton, NC; one sister Rose Barron, Atlanta, GA; four grandchildren, Talia Rose McDaniel, Chance Michael McDaniel, Jaxson Corey McDaniel, and Gabriel Mathias McDaniel; four close friends, Doug McLean, Andrew Hulse, Brian Kirkpatrick, and Tom Spencer; and his former wives, Mary McDaniel, Aiken, and Debbie McDaniel, Rutherfordton, NC. Mr. McDaniel was preceded in death by: one brother, John McDaniel, and one sister Rita O'Neal. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
