James “Jim” Miles, 69, of Valdosta, Georgia, passed away on Friday, November 28 2025. Mr. Miles was born in Evansville, Indiana on February 20, 1956 to the late Raymond Miles and Charlotte Kutcher Zurba.
A mechanically inclined man, he became a jet engine mechanic in the Air Force and retired as a Senior Master Sergeant with 24 years of service. Outside of his service, he also enjoyed woodworking and was a gun enthusiast, and was a member of the Little River Gun Club.
Mr. Miles is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, Cheryl Miles; son, Christopher James Miles; daughter, Charla Klingemann; granddaughter, Caralyn Klingemann; brothers, Jerry Miles and Don Miles; and sisters, Pat Miles and Joan Polster. He is preceded in death by his parents.
