Stacy Marion Barrett, age 54, of Lake Park, Georgia, passed away peacefully at her residence on December 1, 2025. She was born on November 6, 1971, in Hahira, Georgia to parents, Johnny Dale Harnage and Linda Elizabeth Stump Durgin.
Stacy dedicated many years of service to the Lowndes County Board of Commissioners, where she was known for her commitment and professionalism. She cherished her family above all and found her greatest joy in spending time with them. Gifted with a green thumb, she took pride in nurturing her plants and gardens. She especially loved watching her son, Kaleb, play for the Lowndes County Vikings football team.
Creative and exceptionally organized, Stacy had a natural talent for crafting. She also loved to fish, cook, and found peace and happiness in the mountains. Her warmth, passion, and loving spirit will be deeply remembered by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, and sister, Rachel Durgin.
She is survived by her sons Dustin Barrett of Lake Park, GA and Kaleb Radney of Lake Park, GA and daughter Brittany Barrett and boyfriend, Jeff Zipperer of Lake Park, GA.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 5, 2025, at 2:00PM at the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services. The family will receive friends one hour prior. The burial of cremains will follow at Lake Park Cemetery. Kind words and expressions of sympathy can be left for the family at www.musicfuneralservices.com. The Barrett family is being served by the professional and caring staff of Music Funeral Services of Valdosta.
