Cory Patrick Kiser, age 34, passed away on Thursday, February 19, 2026. He was born in Oakland, Pennsylvania on June 23, 1991, to loving parents, William H. Kiser and Patricia L. Kiser.
As a Private in the U.S. Army, he carried himself with quiet courage and determination. Through every high and low, Cory refused to see defeat. No matter the circumstances, he met each day with a warm smile, a favorite Bible verse ready to share, and a heartfelt prayer. His faith anchored him, and he gave far more to others than he ever asked for himself.
Cory was incredibly disciplined and physically fit, dedicating countless hours to the gym. He took pride in staying strong—both mentally and physically. He often spoke fondly of his wrestling years, remembering the hard work, camaraderie, and lessons in perseverance that shaped him.
Music was another joy in his life. He loved playing his favorite songs, letting the melodies lift his spirit and fill the room. He also found inspiration in watching evangelists, eagerly listening to sermons and messages that deepened his faith and encouraged his heart.
And in the simple pleasures of life, Cory had his favorites—bologna sandwiches, pizza, chicken wings, and pepper bread. These small comforts brought him happiness and reminded those around him of his down-to-earth nature.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Donald L. and Barbara N. Kiser and John R. and Sally J. Ross.
He is survived by his parents; siblings, William E. Kiser of Glassport, PA, Jordan A. Kiser (Ariel) of Las Vegas, NV and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2026, from 1:00 to 4:00 at the Glassport American Legion, 417 Monongahela Avenue, Glassport, PA 15045. All friends and family are welcome.
