Service for James Oswald Junge, Jr., 100, of Cleburne will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Monday, September 9, 2024, at Everman United Methodist Church in Everman. Burial will follow in Everman Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-6:00 P.M., Sunday, September 8, 2024, at the funeral home.
James passed away Wednesday, September 4, 2024, in Cleburne. He was born December 26, 1923, in Everman to James, Sr. and Lida Lena (Foust) Junge. James served his country in the U.S. Army Air Corps during WWII. He was a member of Everman United Methodist Church and worked as a homebuilder until his retirement. James loved gardening and enjoyed selling his vegetables.
James is survived by his daughter, Carolyn Junge; son, Jerry Dale Junge; grandchildren, Crystal Chau (Kevin) and Jasmine Junge (Joseph); great-grandchildren, Abigail Chau, Tyler Chau, Lily Davi, Anthony Davi; stepchildren, Frank May, Jr. (Catherine), Tim May, Carl May (Katrina).
James was preceded in death by his first wife of 56 years, Audrey Pylant Junge March 9, 2003; second wife of 7 ½ years, Marjorie May Junge April 5, 2013.
The family is very grateful to the special caregivers that took care of James.
