James W. Keller Sr. “Jim”, 73, of Canton, OH, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 2, 2025.
Jim was born in Canton, OH on June 16, 1951 to the late Forrest and Margaret (Pfaus) Keller. He was a 1970 graduate of Perry High School. In 1969, Jim married the love of his life, Pat, whom he had been together with since the 8th grade. He was the proud owner of Keller’s Harrison and Tusc Auto until he retired. Jim was involved with the Moose Lodge and the Eagles Lodge. Jim also enjoyed racing at Midvale Race Track and was a NASCAR Enthusiast. Jim and his wife enjoyed time together, camping at Springwood Lake, traveling with their fur babies, Mandy and Cinny, and having many parties with their friends and family.
Jim leaves behind his two loving children, James W. Keller Jr. (Deano Pagonakis-Keller) of Akron, OH and Stacey L. Keller of Massillon; precious fur grand-babies, Bailey, Cooper, Kala, Cassius, and Sammy; adoring sister Sue Keller (Rexrode); cherished nephew Jordan Keller, his wife, Nikki and their two sons, Theo and Luca Keller. Jim will also be missed by a host of loving nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to his parents, Jim is preceded in death by his loving wife of 46 years, Patricia Keller (Johnson) and beloved brother, Scott Theodore “Ted” Keller.
Visitation will take place on Friday, April 11, 2025 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, at Paquelet Funeral Home, 1100 Wales Rd. NE, Massillon, OH 44646. Funeral Services will take place on Saturday, April 12, 11:00 AM at Paquelet Funeral Home. Interment will immediately follow in East Union Lawn Cemetery of Navarre, OH. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Jim’s memory may be made to the Stark State Automotive Technology Center (Automotive Student Scholarship Endowment).
